Wow! We can’t believe it’s nearly October already (is it still to early to mention the C-word?). While the leaves have been turning from green to brown, we have been busy preparing last weeks shoots for clients and we are delighted to announce Lesley and Richie’s Wedding Photography can now be viewed online! We had a brilliant time capturing their big day at Glenskirlie Castle last Friday, the couple and their guests were brilliant fun to work with – the highlight for us would have to be the reading of the song “We go together like shama lam a lama de dingĀ de boo!” from GreaseĀ – how everyone laughed!
This week we aim to get last weeks Newborn sessions ready to view for the excited parents and families! If you’re looking to book a session for your new baby, here are a few tips to remember!
- The best time to have your newborn baby photographed is between day 4 and day 12. Most babies are sleepy during this, allowing us to capture images like the ones you may have viewed in our studio. During this time we are able to arrange baby into some wonderful cute positions and he or she will be dozing oblivious!
- We can still capture beautiful images after day 10 but babies become more conscious and aware of the world around them. This reduces the chance of your baby remaining in a peaceful sleep.
- Give your baby a feed about an hour before the sitting and make sure the baby is fully winded.
- Bring an extra feed and if you are breast feeding you could perhaps express some milk for during the session.
- Bring along a simple vest top to allow for some special skin to skin shots with your little one if you wish.
- You can include a special toy or blanket to personalise your images.
Get in touch if you would like to book a session or arrange a gift voucher for someone special!
